Driving progress for people
We’re committed to fostering a world where people thrive and communities flourish.
We’re determined to accelerate the sustainability transition but we can’t do it alone
We love a challenge. But we know we can’t solve the world’s problems single-handedly. To bring progress to life, we need partnerships. Partnerships all along our value chains. Across industries and sectors. From businesses and consumers to NGOs, governments, and academia.
Together with our partners, we make a positive impact for people and planet. Curious about our collaborations? Keep scrolling for some of our highlights.
Since 2007, we’ve partnered with the World Food Programme (WFP) to improve the nutritional value of products and make them more accessible. In fact, today, these products are reaching more than 35 million people every year – and now, we’re scaling up our impact even further by making fortifying rice, making it more nutritious and reach even more millions of people.
The Gates Foundation shares our goal of ensuring that all women and children have the nutrition they need to live a healthy, productive life. Together, we focus on large-scale fortification (reaching 1 billion people) of staples like rice, as well as on new innovations to improve nutrition. And that’s not all: we’re also jointly researching fragrances that repel mosquitos carrying malaria, for use in everyday household products.
Joining forces for last-mile nutrition: that’s the essence of our partnership with World Vision International. Together, we support some of the most vulnerable communities in the Global South – with sustainable, market-based solutions that bridge the gap between public and private efforts to improve nutrition and foster local economic development.
Since 2013, we’ve worked with UNICEF and Sight and Life to improve nutrition for women and children. Our partnership aims to expand the scientific evidence base and proof of viability for targeted nutritional interventions, to increase awareness of the importance of nutrition, and to make nutritious food accessible to those who need it most.
